In this time of eco- awareness and challenges to our environment at so many levels, we take a moment in time to see the true benefit of plants all around us. We will look at indoor plants and trees outdoors as resources for physical, spiritual and psychological well-being.
We will explore;
- Characteristics of indoor plants and the importance of trees in a garden.
- The healing qualities of indoor plants and herbs.
- How through mindful visualisation exercises and physical contact with plants and trees we can use them for healing, self-care, nurture, growth, spiritual connection and wellness in our lives. True friends.
Mass is not included as part of this retreat, but we will celebrate an optional Liturgy of the Word with Communion on Sunday 17th .
Bring a rainproof coat, a pair of boots.
Open to all.
