This theme looks at the tricky balance of the Advent season.

As Christians, we are already living in the ‘already’ of Christ’s first arrival—His birth, death and resurrection—and we are still waiting for the ‘not yet’ of His Second Coming and the complete realisation of His Kingdom.

This encourages participants to move beyond the sentimental image of a “baby in a manger” and embrace a faith that’s active, hopeful, radical, and just even in our imperfect world.
