A poet, is someone, who can pour light, into a cup, then raise it, to quench, your beautiful parched, holy mouth.

Join us for this soul journey retreat where we will dive deep into the sacred language of poetry. This interactive retreat will also offer time to rest, reflect and spend time in nature.
Poetry is the language of the soul. Join us for this soul journey retreat, where we will dive deep into the sacred language of the poetry of such poets as, Rumi, Hafiz, Mary Oliver, David Whyte, John O Donohue and many, many more. An interactive retreat which also offers time to reflect, rest, and spend time in nature.
Offering guided poetry meditations, gentle breath work, movement, chant, and silence. You will experience a connection with that deeper part of yourself, with others, with nature and with the world. It will offer all a more embodied, integrated experience where we can use poetry as a resource for ongoing healing in our lives, that is both exciting and transformative.
We will invite you to take poetry into your heart, into your bodies, to sound it , to share it. To bring it into nature and from nature, to experience it as a blessing, a prayer.
This is not a poetry writing workshop, but an opportunity for you to own pieces of poetry, allowing them to be medicine for the spirit, where they resonate with the soul and become a source of integrated healing for you.
Some of us may have a particular experience of poetry that stays with us from our schooldays and shapes what we think of poetry to this day. Not all of our experiences of poetry has been positive. This retreat will not take an academic approach but invites all to explore how we can hear and experience poetry differently as a source of nourishment for mind, body and spirit.
