Your one, wild and precious life! – Sr. Joann Heinritz, CSJ

Silent Retreat Retreat

Once upon a time, the story goes, a disciple said to the elder:

“Holy One, I have a great spiritual question to ask:

‘Is there life after death?’”

And the Holy One answered:

“Ah, that is an interesting question,

but it is NOT the greatest of spiritual questions.

The greatest of spiritual questions is:

“Is there life BEFORE death?’”

We are living through the unraveling of many old stories—about who we are, why we’re here, and how we are meant to live together on this Earth.

As these inherited narratives shift, immerse yourself in retreat time to refocus and embrace LIFE before death!

Daily reflections will awaken us to the human flourishing required for meaningful relationships with the Divine, other people, and our Earth.

Each day will include a morning presentation, ample time during the day for personal reflection, immersion in the outer and inner landscapes of Ballyvaloo, creative experiences, spiritual guidance, and a prayer ritual/body praise/sharing session each evening.
